As Demi’s career was slowly budding under Scooter’s management, Demi took a paid trip to Israel. In a deleted Instagram story, they revealed that no one told them about the potential backlash they would get for visiting, naively believing it was a spiritual trip.
What was more damning was that Demi stated, “Going against all advice right now and apologizing because it feels right to me and I’d rather get in trouble for being authentic to myself, than staying quiet to please other people,” insinuating that Scooter and his team advised them not to apologize for the paid politicized trip. CCFP director Ari Ingel denied his organization had anything to do with Demi’s trip to Israel.

In the past 6 months, Scooter has made propaganda videos for CCFP, including a TikTok that he eventually posted as a part of his highlights on his 2023 trip to Israel and another one for their Twitter account (also posted on his Instagram). He also has co-signed a letter for Israel to be included in this year’s Eurovision, an international song competition held every year by the European Broadcasting Union.

Scooter continues to peddle Zionist propaganda nearly every single day on his Instagram stories and posts. Here is a little compilation of them:
“But I have watched Jews as a minority speak up everytime [sic] for others. We marched with you during Black Lives Matter, we stood with you for gun reform, we screamed out when your rights were challenged because of sexual orientation. We give when you are sick. Many of us are you. But when our synagogues were shot we heard your silence, and now that those in our homeland are murdered by terrorists we don’t expect you to call out for justice, for protection. We actually expect your silence. We expect your ridicule when we defend ourselves.”

It’s safe to say that Scooter Braun conflates
his Jewish identity with the violent political ideology of Zionism.
In addition to his frequent posts and stories on “debunking myths” about Israel and Israelis, Scooter has long been associated with Creative Community for Peace, a nonprofit pro-Israel/Zionist organization created by fellow “prominent members of the entertainment industry.” According to the website, the organization is simply lobbying members to perform in Israel but has been called a “right-wing front group” for StandWithUs, an anti-Palestinian lobby group that has ties to the Israeli government. According to a leaked confidential 2018 report, the CCFP “depicted movements for social justice as a dire threat to Israel.” In addition, the CCFP is extremely anti-BDS, a non-violent, pro-Palestinian movement to boycott, divest, and propose sanctions against Israel.

Scooter’s involvement with CCFP began in 2011 when he took Justin Bieber, then 17, to Israel. According to a Jerusalem Post profile on Scooter in 2013, there was a lot of opposition for Justin to go to Israel.
However, according to the BBC, Netanyahu received a request from Justin asking to meet with the PM and attempted to “have children from the south attend the meeting in order to encourage them and create a PR effect.”
Scooter fought this allegation as he emphasized no meeting was ever planned, and Netanyahu was the one who suggested Bieber and him meet up, but Justin later on tweeted expressing his frustration: “I want to see this country and all the places ive [sic] dreamed of and whether its [sic] the paps or being pulled into politics its [sic] frustrating."
Braun later said Bieber was taken advantage of by the PM, skirting around the fact that he, as Justin’s manager, took underaged Justin Bieber to Israel despite boycotts.
In 2018, Scooter was honored as an “Ambassador of Peace” at a gala event held by the CCFP. When accepting his award, he said, “I’m a firm believer that the best way we can change the world is coming together and having a dialogue with the intention that all people are good people, and I think this organization pushes for that.”

Braun went after Palestinian supermodel Gigi Hadid over her now-deleted post about Israel “is the only country that keeps children as prisoners of war”: “Let’s get our facts straight before we post to 78 million people.”
Gigi Hadid has been targeted by the state of Israel on social media platforms and has been consistently harassed by pro-Israel supporters for her unwavering support for Palestine.

BOOT THE SCOOT DEFEND THE PEOPLE
Scooter has also allegedly tried to intimidate a pro-Palestinian ARMY recently, and there have been allegations of him being in fans’ DMs to intimidate them in the past.
Braun has posted several alarmingly aggressive pro-Israel reels on his stories filled with misinformation. Some of this has been debunked by Koreaboo, a Korean pop culture gossip website out of all places.
While this is not a fully comprehensive list because this exposé could go on for hundreds of pages, it’s clear as day that Scooter Braun actively pushes Zionist propaganda on his own social media platforms and, if possible, will highly influence his own artists to push the narrative as well. This is extremely concerning as fellow HYBE artist fans. As his influence grows within HYBE, we are reasonably concerned that Scooter could potentially influence a HYBE artist to visit and perform in Israel.
